General Car Rental Terms and Conditions

These General Car Rental Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) regulate the rights and obligations regarding the car rental service between trabzonotokiralama.com (“Lessor”) and the person renting the vehicle (“Lessee”).

1. Rental Requirements

1.1. The Lessee must be at least 24 years old and hold a valid driver's license for at least 4 years.
1.2. Age and license requirements may vary for luxury and premium segment vehicles.
1.3. The Lessor reserves the right to request additional documents when deemed necessary.

2. Rental Period

2.1. The rental period is the time elapsed between the date and time the vehicle is picked up and the date and time it is returned.
2.2. In case the period is exceeded, each hour of delay is charged. Delays exceeding 3 hours are calculated as a full day's fee.
2.3. Extension of the period cannot be made without the approval of the Lessor.

3. Vehicle Delivery and Return

3.1. The vehicle is delivered at the place and date specified in the agreement.
3.2. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was received.
3.3. The fuel level must be returned as received. Otherwise, missing fuel and a service fee will be charged.
3.4. In case of interior stains, cigarette odor, or excessive dirtiness, a cleaning fee will be applied.

4. Fees and Payments

4.1. The rental fee is the amount specified during the reservation.
4.2. VAT is included in the rental fee.
4.3. Additional services (baby seat, navigation, etc.) are charged separately.
4.4. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or cash.

5. Deposit

5.1. A pre-authorization (deposit) may be taken from a credit card during the rental.
5.2. When the vehicle is returned without any issues, the deposit is refunded depending on bank procedures.
5.3. Deductions can be made from the deposit in case of traffic fines, damages, or additional fees.

6. Insurance and Damage

6.1. Vehicles are covered by mandatory traffic insurance and comprehensive insurance (Kasko).
6.2. The Lessee is obliged to immediately inform the Lessor in case of an accident or damage.
6.3. Insurance is deemed invalid in cases of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or use contrary to traffic rules.
6.4. Minor damages, tires, glass, headlights, and interior upholstery damages may be excluded from insurance coverage.

7. Traffic Fines and Tolls

7.1. All traffic fines incurred during the rental period belong to the Lessee.
7.2. OGS/HGS toll fees and service fees are collected separately.
7.3. Fines are collected from the Lessee once notified by the relevant institution.

8. Use of the Vehicle

8.1. The vehicle can only be used by the drivers named in the agreement.
8.2. The vehicle cannot be used for racing, speed trials, freight transportation, or illegal activities.
8.3. The vehicle cannot be taken abroad.

9. Cancellations and Changes

9.1. Reservation cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the rental.
9.2. For late cancellations, a one-day rental fee may be deducted.
9.3. The Lessor reserves the right to make vehicle changes due to force majeure.

10. Termination of Agreement

10.1. In case the Lessee acts in violation of the agreement, the Lessor may unilaterally terminate the agreement.
10.2. In this case, no refund is made and any resulting damages are collected from the Lessee.

11. Privacy and Personal Data

11.1. Personal data belonging to the Lessee is processed within the scope of KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law).

12. Authorized Court

12.1. Trabzon Courts and Enforcement Offices are authorized for disputes that may arise from this agreement.
